Mark Wilson
Mark Wilson had a long career as a human resources leader for Fortune 500 Companies, including more than 20 years leading Leadership and Organization Effectiveness for Taco Bell, a PepsiCo then YUM! Brands company.
Mark decided to leave his leadership development and human resources career to stay home to take care of his mother who developed Alzheimer’s. This is their journey of how he applied many of the leadership practices he learned in his career to leading his mom’s care. Mark shows how these leadership practices helped him lead his mother’s care in a way that led to her living longer and happier than anyone expected. His dedication to help his mom led to discovering this breakthrough care system. These breakthrough care pillars are powerful and are dependent on empowered care leadership to activate them in a way that leads to breakthrough results in longevity and happiness.
Mark has done podcasts for the UCI MIND Alzheimer’s Center and other leading organizations. He is on the Advisory Board for the UCI MIND Center and serves as a Volunteer Advocate for the Consumer Watchdog Group working to reduce medical errors and champion patients’ rights in California. Mark also leads several Alzheimer’s Family Support Groups for the Alzheimer’s Association and is on the Alzheimer’s Legislative Advocacy Team for the Alzheimer’s Association.
