Zhou, HelenRE: JDLS CPF Revised : Dear Dr. O., Thank you so much again for working on the list and summary out of your busy schedules. We three thought it would be better and allow constant updates if we put your list on the MSI website under the journal link. Betty is working on setting up the link. Meanwhile, we revised the CFP for the bridge issue and will soon send it out for the Board for penultimate review. In the CFP, we leave the topics open and general for the first issue. Once the topics link is established, we can attach the link in each CFP for potential contributors to read. Best, HelenMon Mar 2

Re: [OEF-Chat] Coronavirus : I was acting rather laissez-faire about this virus, because the flu is the flu right? We all are exposed to it. But today I heard Dr. Anthony Falci clarify the danger. The lethality of the Corona virus 19 is literally TEN TIMES worse than the regular flu we see most of the time. As of tonight 6 people have died, all of them at that nursing facility near Seattle. Pennsylvania has no reported cases at this time. The potential worldwide death threat could be as high as 2.5 million! So, we all need to learn the appropriate precautions, not allow fear to dictate our behaviors, share the peace of Christ which surpasses all understanding, and be helpful wherever we find ourselves to be. God help the front line care providers and researchers! David Iain Wirick Delacroix, OEF Wherever a Christian sun doth shine, There's always laughter and good red wine. HelenRe: CFP : Betty and Donna, I just sent the CFP to you incorporated with Karen's suggestion and changes we made last Friday incorporated the discussions we three had last week. Please let me know if you would like the Board to review it again before sending it out to the distribution list. I don't have class tomorrow. I will create the distribution list with the 45 people first. HelenMon Mar 2
Zhou, HelenJDLS CFP Penultimate : Hi Betty and Donna, Please see the attached CFP. I incorporated Karen’s suggestion to change “passed” to “transitioned”, and keep the questions Donna and I had for Betty and the Board to review before we send out the CFP. Betty, Donna and I left the changes in blue in the CFP for your approval. Would you like us to wait for your approval before sending it out to the Board or we can send this out to the Board directly for the penultimate review? Best, HelenMon Mar 2
'Leaver' via OEF-ChatRe: [OEF-Chat] Coronavirus : We have it here, up close and personal. I think the the first two cases in the US were in Hollister, about ten minutes from us, where we interact with a lot of groups, including church, gym, and shopping. Another couple of cases have shown up more recently in Santa Clara, about 30 minutes from us, where CB lives. No one here is panicking, at least not yet. Mostly wait and see and otherwise life goes on, just with a little more attention to hygiene. Some folks are refraining from touch and the cup during Mass in some of the churches I have been in, but not so yet at Old Mission. Hope it stays tranquil here — and everywhere. Calls to mind the FDR line about fear itself. I do agree with Br Stephan. We need to be ready to provide support where it is needed and of the sort needed, whether tangible or emotional. Andrew R. CorinMy First Two Follow-Up Drafts *almost* ready to go : Tomorrow morning can we please discuss the way I've done this, which included a few more tweaks to the common wording? In these drafts the common wording is in black and the personalized wording is in blue. I know I'm still waiting to see whether you will have any last minute feedback on these two papers, but I can make final additions and adjustments after we discuss. My sense is that this approach may work for the very cleanest articles, but a different approach may be necessary for those that need more work or mentoring. For most authors (including Wendy's, which is in the tentatively accept category), it may be simplest to also attach a commented version of their first draft. Best, Andrew __________________Mon Mar 2
